Did Dems Fund/ Pay Off Bernie Sanders New (Third) Home? ...

View from four-bedroom 'escape' features Green Mountains and Lake Champlain in his New, Third Home ...

For a guy who railed against Capitalism, Bernie Sanders is riding high on it's coat tails now after getting a new $600K home on the lake in North Hero, Vermont. This compliments his existing two homes, one in Washington DC and one in Burlington, Vermont.

For a guy who , supposedly, had only $600,000 to his name, is it possible the Democratic Party helped him out with this kind gesture of yet another home in exchange for ???. Nothing against it, just the possible hypocrisy that rises it's  head from a guy and party that spent the last year railing against 'big money' and proud of his average $27 contributions.

More importantly, is Bernie Sanders still a socialist or does this make him a capitalist?  Meanwhile, he's become pretty quiet. Haven't seen him out much campaigning for his friend, Hillary, who  'must beat Trump' according to him.

GOLFING IN THE WHITE HOUSE - Is Obama Golfer In Chief?

Presidents Clinton and Obama during a round of golf last September.

Obama may have played the most rounds of any modern president -just playing his 300th round-  but according to  Golf Digest, President Kennedy was the best of them all, averaging 80. At 300 rounds, Obama spent almost a full year of his eight year presidency on the golf course. Only President Eisenhower played more - a reported 800 rounds (which sounds like a mistake - would mean almost a third of his days playing golf). For earlier presidents, Woodrow Wilson was said to have played 1,200 rounds.

TOP PRESIDENTIAL GOLFERS

1 John F. Kennedy Despite chronic back pain, averaged 80.
2 Dwight D. Eisenhower Had a green outside the Oval Office.
3 Gerald R. Ford Clumsy, but was a legitimate 80s-shooter.
4 Franklin D. Roosevelt At 39, polio robbed him of a powerful golf swing.
5 George H.W. Bush Once got his handicap down to 11.
6 George W. Bush Outgoing prez is a capable 15-handicapper.
7 Bill Clinton Can break 90, especially using his "Billigans."
8 Barack Obama The lefty plays more hoops than golf.
9 Ronald Reagan Didn't play often or well (best was low 90s).
10 Warren G. Harding Struggled to break 95.
11 William Howard Taft As hapless a golfer as he was a chief executive.
12 Woodrow Wilson Played more than Ike but almost never broke 100.

Now, make that 300 Games... - T-shirts on sale

Like the polls in linked story, many of the golfing news had Obama with varying numbers of golf games, from 100-400, but most settled around 300
